EU Higher Education Issues and Priorities for 2010 – 2020

The article describes the factors and developments that led to the heightened attention higher education issues are receiving at European level today. It shows how Europe 2020 and the EU’s modernisation agenda for higher education relate to the Bologna Process and how the EU is supporting the emergence of the European Higher Education Area. It goes on to briefly outlining the European agenda for the most important higher education issues in the years up to 2020.
