Partnership Projects – a Cornerstone of Europe-Asia Higher Education Relations

A Survey of ASEAN-EU University Network Programme [AUNP] and Asia Link Projects

AUNP and Asia Link, both programmes of the European Commission, providing funding for university partnership projects, have now closed. EUA conducted a survey of project participants at some distance in time from the dates of project completion and programme closure. This was in order to recover information and opinion concerning success, failure, obstacles, and sustainability that were not so evident at the end of the project contract periods. This article presents the results of the survey, but also draws on the insights and experiences that the authors gained through active participation in Asia-Europe higher education dialogue and cooperation during the past years.
