A European certification

Since 2010, the European Commission has offered research institutions and research funding organisations the opportunity of certification in the area of human resources. The following article deals with the aims of certification, how it is structured, how it can be achieved and what benefits it can bring to higher education institutions, using the practical example of the University of Natural Resources and Life Sciences, Vienna, which has been successfully certified since 2012.
