New Zealand’s approach to education engagement with Europe
In developing its strategy for education engagement with Europe, New Zealand has built on its International Education Agenda and a history of shared values. Significant elements include engagement with the Bologna process, particularly through the qualifications frameworks and quality assurance tools, qualification recognition, increasing research collaboration and comparative policy studies. Implementation is supported by an Education Counsellor located in Brussels, as well as the many relationships already existing between European and New Zealand universities.
