Internationalization of Higher Education: a comparative case study between two Brazilian higher education institutions
Covid-19 reorganized internationalization practices for education. It challenged HEIs to solidify strategies for continuing their activities. The solidification of the internationalization process is one of the factors that has most affected higher education In Brazil. It has acquired a greater scope since the Brazilian Institutional Internationalization Program - CAPES - PrInt was launched. Here we analyze the strategies of the internationalization process at the Federal University of Mato Grosso do Sul (UFMS) and the University of Brasília (UnB). Interviews were conducted in an international context. We argue that the strategies for managing the internationalization process reinforce the institutional demand for more engagement in forms of internal, national, and international recognition and strengthening greater visibility.
