Effects of Student Mobility
The Case of Erasmus Students at the University of Patras
This paper focuses on mobility and the impact of the Erasmus experience on students, in terms of both their personal life and employability. We present the results of a qualitative study among Greek, University of Patras students and graduates. Our findings suggest that mobility confirms students’ readiness and potential to continue their studies and/or work abroad, as well as helps them develop all the necessary skills for the same purpose. Mobility is treated as a holistic life experience that can release and broaden their true potential.
